Decoy Appraisals by Vincenti Decoys |
Vincenti Decoys offers an appraisal service for anyone wishing to access a market value for their decoy collections, antique guns, and related waterfowl / maritime artifacts. Pat has dealt in waterfowl antiques and collectibles for over 40 years and has the experience and resources to determine a market value appraisal of your items. Pat is a student of the Upper Chesapeake Bay School of Carving. He began his career under master carver R. Madison Mitchell and still uses Mitchell’s patterns to produce his Upper Chesapeake Bay decoys.
When appraising antiques and collectibles, we take into consideration several variables that can affect the value. We consider the region/area, vintage, species, maker, condition, originality, and form. While the price of individual decoys varies widely, value is determined using the same principles applied to any fine art.
We prefer small collections to be brought to our location. We will travel to evaluate your large collection - No collection is too big or too small. Estate and insurance valuations on company letterhead will be provided. Clients can be assured that their appraisals will be held in the strictest confidence. Contact the office for more information about obtaining appraisals. Please feel free to contact us for more information at 410-734-7709 or by email at pat@vincentidecoys.com |
